Interview: Giants Ops Manager and Ireland Inline Coach James Glover

With the Stanley Cup still presumably on a non stop round-the-world party with Alex Ovechkin, and with the EIHL in the middle of a HOT Summer break closer to home; you have to dig just a little bit deeper to catch your hockey fix. But oh boy, it’s there! And for at least one Belfast Giant, the daily click-clack of stick on puck didn’t go away in April- even if the ice did!

AVFTB caught up with Team Ireland Inline Hockey Head Coach and Belfast Giants Operations Manager James Glover to talk about his Senior Men’s squad and their debut World Championships campaign currently underway in Asiago, Italy.

They also had a chance to catch up on all things Teal; including a WORLD EXCLUSIVE on the upcoming season’s home jersey, some behind the scenes insight, the ‘Dot Cotton’ of the Belfast Giants tunnel (don’t ask) and a discussion on the current hot topic sweeping Twitter and Facebook- the retirement of ‘Monty’ and introduction of a brand new EIHL Championship trophy.
