You nominees are

Blair RileyBlaze vs Giants #14

The Captain has been on a rich vein of scoring form. Regaining the “C” for a second season October witnessed him pick up a number of Game Winning Goals and show distinct leadership on the ice.

Lightning vs Giants #3Tyler Beskorowany

A real cult favourite among the Giants faithful, since returning from early season injury he has been lights out, shutting down attacks and stone walling offences to give the Giants a number of hard fought wins on the road.

Josh RoachRoach

Two short list entries in the opening two months of the season and with good reason. Roach has impressed on the blueline in practically every game so far this season. Attacking prowess mixed with defensive awareness, Roach is an ever-present force in teal.

Belfast Giants v Dundee Stars - Challenge Cup

Dustin Johner

Another making his second shortlist appearance of the embryonic season. Johner continues to prove what he can do having suffered injury that ruled him out of most of last season. October has brought plenty of goals and assists, leading to a well deserved nomination.
