A View From The Bridge LIVE returns to McCools at the SSE Arena this Saturday 17th November, following the Belfast Giants v GKS Katowice game, the final competitive game of Group E in the IIHF Continental Cup!
Patrick Smyth, Simon Kitchen and Joel Neill will be joined on stage by a number of special guests to reflect on what we all hope to be a successful tournament.
Sadly Davy McGimpsey is unable to make it to this latest show, but no doubt will have a message or two to send.. or maybe even FaceTime his way in.
But win or lose, you can expect that usual AVFTB craic, with maybe a little edge as this will be an 18+ only affair.
Here are the main details –
- Show will start approx. 20-30 minutes after the game finishes. (When Simon and Joel get back from Post-Game duties.)
- We’ll be on stage in McCools which will be Over-18 entry only. Sorry.
- The Show will NOT be recorded, so you’ll need to come along to hear what goes on.
- Beer is sold… so go enjoy some… but Drink Responsibly!
- There may be some “industrial language” at times, so don’t say you weren’t warned.

The Giants are competing on the European stage for fourth time and the first time since 2014-15 season when they reached the Third Round in Angers, France.
This time Belfast host the semi-final stage for the second time, the first time was in November 2002 when the Giants subsequently advanced to the Super-Final in Lugano, Switzerland in January 2003.
